Outline of the school
Our school is foundation 84years. It is an only blind school in this prefecture.
Now an adult of 55 years old of high department rehabilitation department
learns it from 3 years old child of a childish department. We "bring
up the human being who is full of hearts with health, and education target
of our school feeds the power that it is possible for social independence".
We conform to education target and give a concrete guidance important point.
We do careful guidance to personality of student each one, degree of an
obstacle.

1 In deference to one personality and ability, We think about the future
in a field of vision large as possible.
2 We resemble two general education, vocational education and try for improvement
of scholarship.
3 We work on three independence and, through experience activity, feed
knowledge and a skill to make up for an obstacle.
4 We acquire four basics habits and try for upbringing of rich human nature.
We established a weak-eyed education consultation room in 1996. We distributed
a pamphlet to the cities, towns and villages Board of Education under a
prefecture, a medical institution, an elementary and junior high school.
We carry out periodical consultation in consultation society and our school
in each place and help children troubled with sight disorder. We do finding
employment guidance of the rehabilitation department that most are halfway
handicapped people or after-sale service of a graduate. Now we wrestle
toward education center of a sight handicapped person.
We want to have an opinion from many people through this homepage. We
want to try for practice of more substantial education.

A characteristic of a school and History of school
Our school started as private Yamanashi KunmoH academy in 1919. We pass
through prefectural transfer, and there is the history of 83 afterwards.
We sent a graduate of more than 1000 out. A graduate is out of within the
prefecture and We are made and play an active part led by a rapid masseur
in each field.
The famous American Parkins blind school principal ever visited the our
school worldwide. In addition, extend over four times by education of deafness
and dumbness disorder, and is appointed by Education Ministry experimental
school || increased. We achieved a pioneer role of education of the blind
in the country. We held a national open study meet recently as Education
Ministry education for the handicapped course of study study designated
school in 6.7 Heisei year. We install a weak-eyed education consultation
room from 1993 and it is wide and, for various places of babies and young
children / a child / a student with sight disorder and the protector and
an adult, can turn in the school outside and develops education consultation
activity. The approach gets the high appraisal.

The regular course usually considers department (three courses of year)

school, the junior high school, and the high school. (There is a repetition

Support Center for the Visually Handicapped
Is not there a trouble for sight?
We establish "sight disorder education consultation / support center" to meet needs of a sight handicapped child (a person) in a prefecture at a blind school.
From the baby who included some problems in judgment to an old person ||

We accept consultation of the person concerned and, other than the person
himself, support it.
We do an introduction or course consultation of a supporting ingredient
in sight disorder of halfway.
We accept various consultation of a graduate.
We take cooperation with a weak-eyed class and being on the register roll
school and each many facilities concerned and promote understanding for
general various places for a sight obstacle.
We do such a support.

offer information about sight and eyesight of child.
